EURO SHOES

EURO SHOES PREMIERE COLLECTION is a presentation of Western and Eastern European shoe brands from Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Austria, France, Slovenia, Finland, Poland, Sweden and Switzerland, as well as from Australia, Brazil, Israel and the U.S.A.

The Presentation takes place twice a year: at the end of February and at the end of August.

The Presentation shows the trends of gradual changes of Russian customers’ preferences towards more expensive high quality shoes from Europe.

The Presentation’s Mission is to bring together European shoe brands in one place to meet the present-day Russian market challenges that require early orders and consequently early deliveries.

■ Format

EURO SHOES PREMIERE COLLECTION is a closed show room presentation for BAYERS by invitations only.

■ 100% of visitors are the BAYERS from Russia and CIS countries

■ History.

The first Presentation of European shoes took place in one of Moscows hotels in August 2007. The orders made there provided buyers with earlier deliveries and European shoe manufacturers — with the sales growth at the end of the season.

The second presentation took place in February 2008 in three Moscow’s hotels. A great number of orders inspired the participants and showed the necessity to hold the event at one exhibition venue.

Since then, the EURO SHOES PREMIERE COLLECTION presentations take place at the exhibition centre.

The new brands and technologies
Over 3,500 buyers visited EURO SHOES PREMIERE COLLECTION Spring-Summer 2012, which took place successfully on 24–27 August for the 7th time at Sokolniki fair ground, pavilions 4, 4.1, and 4.2.

More than 30 new brands took part in the Presentation in addition to the traditional participants. Almost all of them came over there thanks to their retail clients advices.

The following companies and brands — Left and Right, Bagatt, Sam Edelman, Nila-Nila, Swish, Relaxshoe, Baldinini and William Massimi from Italy, Brake, Boxer from Greece, Yellow cab from the Netherlands, Gebr Wadle from Germany, Repetto from France, Pretty Ballerinas from Spain were among the newcomers there. Baldinini coincided with EURO SHOES PREMIERE COLLECTION the demonstration of its new spring-summer collection 2012. The number of orders exceeded all expectations — the company did not believe that their debut would be so successful.

IDANA is among the top ten footwear sellers in Germany (the average price of their shoes in Europe is 20 Euros) and they have just sized up the Russian market. And at Sokolniki the company has found its first regional clients already.

The newly opened wholesale companies of Fashion Galaxy and Spanish Fresh Group chose EURO SHOES PREMIERE COLLECTION for the premiere presentation of their brands. Fashion Galaxy is an exclusive distributor for the British, the USA and French brands in Russia such as: UGG Australia, Ed Hardy, Kurt Geiger, Repetto. Spanish Fresh Group specializes in Spanish shoes, among them — Pedro Miralles, Ferchi, Wekkend, Porronet, Alce.

Another newcomer, El Naturalista from Spain, represented shoes with a double density sole. JOSEF SEIBEL, one of the traditional participants of EURO SHOES PREMIERE COLLECTION since 2007 demonstrated shoes with AIR PED technology that keeps feet dry even in hot weather. CAPRICE from Germany showed new versions of models with ON AIR insole, SUPERFLEXIBLE insole and Walking on air ANTISHOKK heel. " Within two hours after the fair opening we had already signed about 80% of our contracts. And if today things continue this way and as you can see our stand is full of people, the clients like our collection, I think we have all chances to double the great results we had last year», — said CAPRICE representative Jurgen Colsch.

«The geography of our customers is vast — from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka -said Shaheen Asadov, the General director of the Russian representation of Rieker Wostok. — This year the company entered new markets in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The major trend that dominated in all collections of EURO SHOES PREMIERE COLLECTION participants was the genuine naturalness.

The Tamaris collection consisted of 390 models in the following categories: Tamaris Trend — Young Fashion, and Tamaris Active — Sport & Function. According to Friedrich Naumann, CEO of Tamaris, «All goals were achieved. Favorable location of the pavilion,banner ads with trend models and the effect of word of mouth among customers yielded good results. In the future the company plans to expand into the regions. Work has already begun with Siberia and the Urals, is expected to advance to the south and the Far East».

The new collection of RELAXSHOE included more than 20 shoe lines of different leather types and colour variety. The company demonstrated over 80 shoe models at the presentation.

SAMSON from France introduced Artika Soft brand — fashionable and comfortable shoes for young people, and Hasley brand for the connoisseurs of refined classics and comfort.

The participants reported an increase in orders and benefit of the presentation for marketing purposes.

The company Wendel, produces shoes under the name Marco Tozzi, this year’s increased production volumes and changed the time of ordering — the season Spring-Summer 2012 buyers began writing in mid-July. And in Russia, orders for the next season has already exceeded last year’s volume — taking into account those contracts that were signed with regional clients on the eve of the presentation. The collection sold well and closed tufelnaya group, and open, and the so-called sports classic. The company expected that the increase demand for the model in the style of desert oots, which is shod all Europeans.

The company Steiger (representative of the Portuguese brands and Westriders GUT) expects steadily growing orders: «The results we are very happy. There is a belief that the season will be good. The volume of orders we have increased by 20–30% compared with the previous season»

The next EURO SHOES PREMIERE COLLECTION will be considerably bigger, according to the number of companies that have signed up for participation and will take place on 20–23 February 2012 at Sokolniki fair ground, pavilions 4, 4.1, 4.2, and 7A.
